    "Dutch Science" is a musical venture, produced by Jesus Vio, with collaborators Cornelia Overton (back up vocals, violin, and bass) and Austin Edwards (back up vocals, piano, and drums). Its a 12 song full length record comprised of poetry, strings, rock n' roll, art, vocal harmonies and twee songs written by Vio and accompanied by Overton and Edwards. It was recorded in the summer of 2017 in Nashville-TN at the punk rock house; The Pet Cemetery.

    The cover was embroidered by local Nashville artist Kate Madeira with the concept revolving around traditional art aestheticizing new technology, hence the microchip behind the portrait. The back cover photograph was taken by Marcus Maddox a local Nashville photographer who has worked with vogue and was featured in the Nashville Scene for his photography book, "POM POMS", about the crowds at Nashville underground shows.

A woman walks around with a camera unassuming
moving fluidly through the crowd
She says flash me one of those beautiful smiles

The bride turns, holding a flimsy birdcage filled with flowers
She knocks over a candle on the gift table
The gift catches fire and explodes knocking everyone to the floor like a bowling strike

The table catches fire. The walls catch fire
There is a fire in the fervently beating hearts of the firemen who are already on their way
But it will be to late
The bridesmaids run through the lobby
Their effervescent skirts stream behind them like the wakes of jet skis
Speeding across the shark filled ocean
Towards warm watery light of the sinking sun
Never too be seen again
