Throw some pants on and put on my shirt
My sneaks are fresh to death and my socks they rock
Strap my watch on and my belt on too
And my cap is from my favorite skate shop
When the song starts I dance my joints loose
Stretch and flex in the morning and chop some fruit
Camomile in the morning gotta relax to seek truths
Pull the covers over my mattress gotta make some moves
Bumpin the beats when I’m walking to the book store
Got knowledge on the to do list like its part of my chores
Get some ice cream in between and sit by the shore
By the lake, by the pond or watch the seagulls soar
Poetry on the daily got the rhymes locked down
When the ball point pen rolls over I’m rhythm bound
Lyrically I got to seek inside my spirit
The subconscious ain’t to far from the beat when I feel it
The planes and the cranes high over your grit
The birds and the squirrels that cars and gum on the bus seat
Let it all in like theres no time to fidget
Except to make the dance nicer when we choreograph it
Got back home just in time to make some din din
Took a shower changed my cloth and looked at the screen scene
Turned it off wrote in my journal and now I just think
The clock is tick ticking and the house is contracting and expanding
In my dreams I wake to remember and interpret
Lots of them I will never forget
Toss and turn I awoke and can’t go back to bed
Turned on the lamp and wrote the stuff inside my head
Theres so much music out there to discover
But I keep the basic on the schedule going onward
Yet I don’t need to be looking any further
I follow the moon and grow the through the seasons like a self made farmer
